This photo was taking during my 4th of July vacation at a bakery in Frisco, Colorado. Cupcakes have their orgins from the United States (the first cupcake recipe appeared in an American cookbook in 1826), so I suppose it would be an appropriate dessert to have on America's Birthday.
Back in 2010, a good friend of mine suggested that I create a blog dedicated to my photography. I thought it would be a fun project so I went ahead and created this blog. Each post with its photos represent a personal inspiration. I hope my visitors enjoy my work.

Calbary Baptist Church
I went downtown one late afternoon a few weeks ago to photograph the construction going on near Chinatown. Not far from the construction site there was a church whose red brick structure stood out in the afternoon sunlight. The sun was shinning on the church in between two buildings leaving just the center facade of the church visable in the sunlight. Just above the circular window in the front of the church, there is the shaddow of a crane from that construction site that I had gone downtown to photograph in the first place.

Connecting Flights
During a flight to Colorado last month, I had to switch planes at Chicago O'Hare International Airport. This is a shot of an underground passageway that I took in order to make my connection to Denver.
